A Chatsworth man was found dead in his car Wednesday around 7 p.m. at a convenience store in the Nicklesville community.
According to Gordon County Coroner James Carver, Stephen Lewis Ross, age 58, had pulled in to the ABC Convenience Store located at the corner of Highway 225 and Highway 411 in Nicklesville. Witnesses told authorities that he had been parked at the convenience store approximately two hours when authorities were called. Authorities found Ross slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle in the parking lot.
Carver said that Ross suffered a massive heart attack.
