Cagle bus tour to stop in Calhoun on Aug. 16

Casey Cagle inviting local residents to meet and greet

Casey Cagle, the leading conservative Republican for governor, will be visiting Calhoun on Wednesday, Aug. 16 as part of his North Georgia bus tour. Cagle will visit with local residents for a meet and greet from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Fox Motor Company Building (209 S. Wall Street, Calhoun, Ga., 30701). The event is open to the public, and is a great opportunity for all Gordon County residents to meet Cagle.

“As a seventh generation Hall County native, North Georgia is my home,” said Cagle. “I know the value of listening to my neighbors’ concerns and ideas, and over the years I have been a great friend to Gordon County. My vision for this state reflects the conservative principles that have made Georgia great, and I look forward to meeting with the good folks of Gordon County.”

“Casey has always fought for our conservative values,” said Sen. Chuck Hufstetler. “I am proud to support my friend, Casey Cagle, for governor because I know that he will deliver on his promises to improve education, create 500,000 jobs in four years, and cut our income taxes.”

The Cagle campaign is fueled with momentum after raising $2.7 million in just two months, earning the support of 64 elected officials in Northwest Georgia, and being endorsed by more than 60 Georgia sheriffs. Cagle’s tour of North Georgia will continue throughout the week, and the Republican will visit 17 counties during the six day bus tour.
