UPDATE: The death of an individual at a Line Street home on Tuesday appears to have been caused by a heart attack, according to the results of an autopsy performed at the GBI Crime Lab. There did not appear to be any signs of foul play in the death, according to the autopsy. 

Some facts concerning the death led investigators to believe it was possibly a homicide. However, the autopsy indicated a heart attack as the cause. 

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED: Calhoun police are investigating the death of an individual at a Line Street home on Tuesday and have called in the GBI to assist. 

Calhoun Police Chief Tony Pyle said the cause of death is undetermined at this time. However, the body is being taken to the GBI Crime Lab for further examination, he added. 

"We are not calling it a homicide at this time," Pyle said.
