ROME, Ga. (AP) -- Cole Stobbe doubled and singled, driving in two runs as the Lakewood BlueClaws defeated the Rome Braves 3-2 on Tuesday.

Rafael Marchan doubled and singled twice for Lakewood.

Lakewood started the scoring in the second inning when Stobbe hit an RBI double and then scored on a single by Jonathan Guzman.

After Lakewood added a run in the third when Stobbe drew a bases-loaded walk, scoring Marchan, the Braves cut into the deficit in the third inning when Greg Cullen hit a two-run double.

Lakewood right-hander Victor Santos (2-1) picked up the win after allowing two runs on four hits over five innings. Opposing starter Jose Olague (1-3) took the loss in the South Atlantic League game after giving up three runs and six hits over three innings.
