JONESBORO, Ga. (AP) — A metro Atlanta woman accused of letting a convicted child molester live with her and her daughters is being held without bond on child cruelty charges.
WSB-TV (http://bit.ly/1fNLzqi) reports 31-year-old Darrika Driver was arrested after her 22-year-old boyfriend, Natavious Mays, moved back in after his release from prison. Mays was convicted of molesting two girls who are now 12 and 14 years old. Police say Mays molested the 14-year-old girl when he moved back in and recorded the assault on his cellphone.
Officials say Driver lied to authorities about where Mays lived knowing that he shouldn't have been near her children.
Mays was on probation and is charged with aggravated child molestation, producing child pornography and failure to register as a sex offender. He's expected to appear in court Wednesday.
